This Gulf Region High Performance (GRHP) Demonstration Home is part of an educational program of LSU AgCenter’s LaHouse Resource Center in partnership with the Dept. of Energy’s Building America Program, the La. Dept. of Natural Resources Energy Office and Southern Homes. It’s goal is to show practical ways to produce homes that offer much more than shelter and good looks alone. Open House for Professionals - Oct. 7th
On Oct. 7, realtors, lenders, appraisers, inspectors and other housing professionals are invited to a free open house from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. The event will include tours, experts on hand for questions, and a noon presentation on energy incentives, financial tools and verifications for high performance homes.

Open House - October 3rd
On Oct. 3, the public is invited to a free open house from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., with live demonstrations at 10 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. Educational materials also will be available on how to achieve highly energy-efficient, durable and healthful-living homes in our hot, humid climate.
